Swansea Market Butchers.
by lifelong at 16:37 15 May 2024

Was in Town today for my weekly visit to the Market, Hugh Phillips butchers, established in the 1870’s, has closed down permanently.
Notice in the window stating, words to the effect, that due to farming costs and others pressures the business had become unsustainable and that it was with a heavy heart that the business had to close.
Very sad day for the City.

Lose to Man C and miss out on Champions League or win and gift Arsenal the title

What would you do if it was us and Cardiff?

What will work for the Swans next season?

1970s Liverpool pass and move.

1980s Wimbledon Crazy Gang long ball to Fash the Bash equivalent.

Many times last season I think the latter would have been more effective.

Leeds fan assaulted
by KeithHaynes at 18:50 13 May 2024

Not sure if it was ‘slashed’ as originally reported, however two men have been arrested after being confronted about chanting ‘Galatasaray’ and singing about knifing Leeds fans in Turkey.

Whatever it was this is another sign of cowardice which is becoming acceptable.

No charges yet and another man is sought.

Utterly useless, needs to be put out to grass, although why he's been told to play in that back four is a mystery to everyone except Ten Hagg.

Welsh National Opera
by SullutaCreturned at 10:35 12 May 2024

They are making a fuss, demanding more moeny form the Senedd and one of them, a Soprano, is on Welsh politics this morning saying Westminster should agree an emergency funding package to safeguard jobs, seriously...WTF?

They can't safeguard TATA jobs, they can't safeguard the NHS, schools, police or social care and rhe Opera demand more money from government.

I say they can go forth and multiply. There are far more important things than jobs for a few hundred people that only a few thousand go to watch.
