Was in Town today for my weekly visit to the Market, Hugh Phillips butchers, established in the 1870’s, has closed down permanently. Notice in the window stating, words to the effect, that due to farming costs and others pressures the business had become unsustainable and that it was with a heavy heart that the business had to close. Very sad day for the City.

Whatever it was this is another sign of cowardice which is becoming acceptable.
We always stand our ground, not in our make up to take even one step backwards. Notts County relied on away supports to boost all of their attendances over 10k last season. And their pitiful support at the Wembley national league playoff final 😂

They are making a fuss, demanding more moeny form the Senedd and one of them, a Soprano, is on Welsh politics this morning saying Westminster should agree an emergency funding package to safeguard jobs, seriously...WTF?
They can't safeguard TATA jobs, they can't safeguard the NHS, schools, police or social care and rhe Opera demand more money from government.
I say they can go forth and multiply. There are far more important things than jobs for a few hundred people that only a few thousand go to watch.
