Darryl Duffy insisted that his 5th - and most controversial - Swansea goal was not handball despite the long protests from the Carlisle players after the on loan striker hit home.

Duffy scored four minutes into stoppage time to give the Swans three vital points and end any lingering hopes that the Cumbrians had of the play offs but everybody on the home side was convinced that he had handled the ball before firing home

Duffy said: "I like to think I'm an honest type of player, and it was definitely not handball. The ball hit my side, not my arm. "It was a fantastic time to score. Both teams went all-out to win the game, and it must have been great to watch because it was certainly good to play in." Carlisle protests were long and vigorous after the late winner, and Duffy said: "I'm quite sure we would have been just as frustrated if it had been us losing a goal in the last minute. It was a real killer blow. Their keeper made a great save from the first shot, and it was a great feeling to score in the last minute."
