They had every right to that money up until the point they failed to spend it, that was the stupidity of it, claiming we are hard done by then handing 155 million back.

As I said, if they had planned AND implemented it properly we wouldn't have this mess. It was badly thought out, badly drafted and so, badly implemented.
They should only ever have changed the roads that needed changing and saved a load of money. It was ridiculous. My opinion, Drakeford wanted it in before he quit thinking it would be a massive success and he could claim it. Well it's been a mess and so he has a mess attached to one of his last acts.

The Scottish education was one of the best in the World 25 years ago easily better than England. Unfortunately education standards in Scotland have plummeted and according to 2023 exam results it is now far worse than Englands.

The rest of Wales outside the central Cardiff postcode area has certainly suffered as a result of devolution. The desperation of the Senedd to see the cancerous capital bloom at the expense of everywhere else is plain to see.
It is one of the great ironies that Cardiff voted no in the first place. Maybe if the citizens of Swansea had had the same common sense we'd have been spared the whole catastrophe. | |

Correct and the NHS trusts in Wales are funded by the Senedd and are under the control of the Welsh Minister for health Baroness Morgan and previously Vaughan Guessing.

Who said it was centrally run? The trusts are all responsible to the government though, whichever one that may be.
