The Wrexham Owners 20:48 - Jan 29 with 5852 views | builthjack | In it for the long haul by the sound of it. What’s your thoughts on them? I think they will take Wrexham to the Championship in the next 6/7 years, playing in front of 17000 every week. They will be our main Welsh rivals.

The Wrexham Owners on 20:01 - Jun 11 by Kilkennyjack | Not quite right as usual …. a statement posted on Wrexham’s website on June 15, 2022, stating only: “Funding for the Kop will come from the public and private sectors, with the club making a significant contribution towards the overall cost.” What is known, however, is that the club paid around £2million last summer to buy back the freehold to the Racecourse from Glyndwr University, an important step for the project.‘ Time will tell when we play them next …. |
Do what you normally do google who's paying for Wrexham's stand.

The council built the Swansea,.com stadium. Talk of St Helens being redeveloped. The city has had that money back in spades. The WAG funded the Sophia Gardens cricket stadium. The US guys are creating wealth in the city and surroundings and well paid jobs in Wrexham. perhaps 100 extra jobs? Coaches, commercial, TV. Fans will come in from distance. Building jobs for locals for the stadium and housing for players. Incoming commercial money will be shared by the club staff the player the city and the owners. The WAG invests as it will generate grown and a return for the WAG in rates. Taxes go to HMRC,

The Wrexham Owners on 14:04 - Jun 11 by Kilkennyjack | Good for them. The Kop had not been used for years. Now being rebuilt by these guys. As actors they saw the story line and they were correct. I am looking forward to beating them twice in the Championship soon. |
We wont even play them mate. We will go down to league 1 as they go up to the championship.

I look and Americans and do not see thieves but decent blokes trying to grow a business. Just like Reynolds and "the Yank" . Most Swansea fans on this forum are afraid to praise them for their significant investments. I could easily mix with Jake, Steve and Jason eating prawns over looking the Golden gate bridge. It is the hardened dim dull urban pseudo socialists talking biblical language of betrayal that see networking, growth, development as 'selling out' not me. Swansea airport I was reading about today symbolises the dullness of this group. Whinging is a local pastime. The Trust is right up Swansea fans street. It has no capacity to grow unless it is off the back of Jenkins / Morgan or now Silverstein, Kaplan and Levein. It was a "women's Institute" organisation run by mostly mature men 2012-2021. If it cannot make money independently it may as well as well shut down. It is stunted by thoughts about "what it ought to be" . It needs advice with one question that needs answering. "How do we make money?"

Just because you don't like something is not a reason for anything to shut down.

It is going nowhere with the current low expectation mindset of simply existing and notionally checking the club accounts every year. It is wedded to decline and contraction and cannot fulfill its brief having been asleep at the wheel when it was worth £20,000.000. Why did members not demand the SCST board sell their shares? The members were free wheeling as they did not personally stand to gain or lose anything. The abuse of the sellers is a fig leaf of their poor logic. Member need to blame themselves not the current Trust board. Swansea did what Wrexham wants to do (a very big ask ) without any investment or global publicity. It needs more than PR skills.
